How do you drop 7 points in the polls in two weeks? Easy if you’re Creigh Deeds. Use disrespectful terms like “young lady” to a reporter and then play coy with your plans to raise taxes in a recession. This dropped Deeds to a 9 point deficit.

A new poll just out proves my calculations on a post earlier today were correct when I posted the correctly weighted poll numbers and arrived at a McDonnell Lead of 54% to 33% for Deeds. At least the numbers for McDonnell were pretty close.

A short time ago, a Public Option amendment proposed to the Senate Finance Committee was rejected. This was an amendment written by Senator Jay Rockefeller and was the more Liberal of the Public Option amendments. The committee vote as 15 – 8 to kill with all Republicans and 5 Democrats voting to kill it.

The leadership of our Congress has vowed to sign a treaty to pass the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. If they succeed, all of the state specific legislation that protects the rights of parents to control the upbringing and education of their children will be overridden by whatever a committee of UN bureaucrats thinks is appropriate. The consequences are severe, from outlawing of homeschooling, to mandatory sex education and much more. Please watch this video and pass it along to others. We are still in time to stop this treaty.

The latest Public Policy Polling poll for the Virginia Governor’s race was just released and draws the conclusion:
Creigh Deeds is now within five points of Bob McDonnell in the race to be Virginia’s next Governor, and most of the remaining undecided voters are Democrats.

Recently, a self professed supporter of Democrat Tom Shields has been posting some rather curious comments on several of my posts concerning Shields and his ties to Acorn. He goes by the name Alter of Freedom and that is apparently the name of his blog. Some of his comments give details of the results of canvasing Tom Shields has done, and the Blog has numerous pro Shields posts.

The Washington Times reports that former teacher, Kevin Jennings, President Obama’s “safe school czar” encouraged a 15 year old child to “use a condom” while he was having sex with an older man. And he failed to report the incident or take the opportunity to protect the child from being raped by a child predator.

President Obama plans to head to Denmark to make a pitch for the 2016 to be granted to his Chicago hometown.
What will he say? Chicago has the best pay for play politics in the country (excepting the Federal Government, of course). Hang out on the streets a while and you will be most likely to witness a murder, gang activity, or both?

Apparently, President Obama does not know what a tax is. Obamacare is about to his Americans with the largest tax increase in the history of the country and Obama is playing games.

Senator Ken Cuccinelli (R-37) accepted the endorsement for Attorney General from 77 different elected law enforcement officials from across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“I am honored to announce the endorsements from 77 law enforcement officials, both Sheriff’s and Commonwealth Attorney’s, of my candidacy for Attorney General of Virginia,” Senator Cuccinelli said. “These individuals, all of whom have the trust of their communities, and many of whom are politically independent, are supporting me because they know that as Attorney General I will advance tough strategies for fighting gangs, drugs, and other crime.” He continued, “I am humbled by such widespread support among Virginia’s Sheriffs and Commonwealth Attorneys, in addition to the Fraternal Order of Police, which itself represents more than 8000 law enforcement officers and is the largest law enforcement organization in the Commonwealth.”

We have all seen the hot air windbag Al Gore tooling around the world spewing hot air and jet exhaust around the globe – and that’s just from his mouth! Gore was worth only $2 million when he left the White House a big loser. Now Gore has had the last laugh. His Global Warming hoax has seen his fortune grow to over $100 million! Not bad for a washed up Liberal, huh?

Tom Shields is running for the 73rd Virginia House District. He has taken money from his Mentor, Congressman Bobby Scott, for whom he worked for almost 5 years. Scott sent him money, as did the SEIU, which is an arm of Acorn. Delegate O’Bannon has called on Shields to repudiate Scott’s vote and return the [...]

“Sometimes, what we have is a Prius-driving, latte-drinking group of elite people sitting around making decisions for all these people in our culture who never get a chance to speak for themselves.”
Those words are from Bishop Harry Jackson, Jr., who recently sat down with George Allen and members of Bishop Jackson’s church in the DC metropolitan area to discuss the effects of rising energy prices on families.
Governor Allen advocates for abundant, affordable, American energy. He is concerned about the effect of higher energy prices on low and fixed income families.

I really misjudged Tom Shields in my earlier posts on the man. Not only is he taking money from Congressman Bobby Scott, SEIU/Acorn and others, he still refuses to abandon his support for Acorn. Even after the child prostitution tapes were shown. He is trying to raise money, calls Delegate O’Bannon names for pointing out Shield’s Acorn connection and now, O’Bannon’s signs are being damaged and stolen. And not just a few.

Having read the entire 93 page thesis (and I wonder how many of the McDonnell detractors have actually done so), I can say the Democrats proclamations that Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell is somehow “anti-woman” are absolutely false.

By now it should be pretty evident to all Virginians. The United Republican Ticket is seen as the best option for businesses and Law Enforcement. While Creigh Deeds is running around in Emperor’s New Clothes fashion pretending to have a transportation plan and spreading absolute lies about Bob McDonnell, Bob is traveling the state telling [...]
