The band played “God Bless the USA” – the Lee Greenwood standard – and everyone in the crowd, estimated at over 5,000 and growing. The band followed this up with “God Bless America” and the crowd again rose to their feet.
The hopes and dreams of taking back our country are alive and well at this Roundup. People stop me as I roam through the crowd taking pictures and ask “Do you think we can take 100 seats”?
I will have to say, with God Bless America ringing in my ears, it does seem possible.
The song ended with a great cheer and applause.
