Former DC mayor and current city councilman Marion Barry was arrested for stalking a woman. As you may remember, Barry was arrested buying and using crack cocaine in 1990 while serving his third term as mayor. After a 6 month prison term, Barry was reelected to a 4th term as mayor.

Barry plead guilty in 2005 for failing to file and pay taxes. In fact, he failed to pay taxes in 8 out of 9 years, but claimed he was sick.
Perhaps this arrest signals Barry’s desire to run again for higher political office in DC? Who knows.
