You really have to wonder how Tipper Gore could have stayed with husband Al Gore for so long. 40 years to be precise. With the mental intellect of a prairie toad and the monotone croaking that only other toads could possibly find charming, Tipper is a saint.
Now that Gore’s Global Warming Climate Change hoax has been exposed and his financial future in the biodegradable crapper, Tipper has decided to move on to greener pastures.
The divorce cites irreconcilable differences and a bovine-like flatulence on Al’s part.
It is also reported that Tipper was very distraught at Gore’s inability to be exposed in an extramarital affair.
Surely Al will find love again Some day.

Blanche Lincoln is hoping for a third term in the US Senate, which makes her a Washington insider in most people’s minds. But in order for her to qualify for years 13 through 18 in Washington, she had to face Arkansas Lt. Governor Bill Halter.
Fully aware that President Obama would likely hurt her chances with the voters of Arkansas, who have grown to loathe the big spending going on in D.C., Lincoln asked Obama to please do her a favor and stay away.
Ouch! A real bitch-slap to one as narcissistic as Obama.
So, there is no good news for Democrats here. Sure, like in Pennsylvania the challenger is more liberal and has union support, but Lincoln failed to get 50% of the vote and has now been forced into overtime in the nasty mud slinging battle. The Razorback apparently has seen it’s shadow – three more weeks of mud is on the way.
Which means three more weeks of money flowing like Hurricanes at Mardi Gras. And a lot less for either candidate to spend against Republican challenger John Boozman, a member of the US House for 11 years.
So, while there was no winner yesterday in this race, there were two losers. President Obama, who was told “make yourself scarce”, and Democratic coffers, which are open for three more weeks.

Remember a short while back when President Obama was caught lying? Ok, not about Health Care, the banking bill, or one of dozens of other cases. But when he slipped out of the White House to attend, ahh hem, a Soccer match his daughter was in. Only there was no soccer game? And laa the mainstream media dropped it? Turns out, the National Enquirer did not drop it!
I know. The National Enquirer. Normally I would not even bother to believe a publican like that, but given their accuracy with John Edwards and Tiger Woods, and the fact they are accusing the president of the United States of cheating, it is hard not to listen this time.
There is a hotel tape and witnesses that have been paid. And no one in their right mind would have the guts to report something this big without absolute truth.
The Enquirer has this developing story here.
Stay tuned.

There are two pretty big topics going around in Virginia today. One is a Blog War, of sorts, between Ben Tribbett of Not Larry Sabato Blog and J.R. Hoeft of Bearing Drift.
The other topic is the nut job that was arrested for threatening Virginia Republican Congressman Eric Cantor and his family.
As most of you know, I love to use pictures to help tell a story. I collected photos of Ben Tribbett (Not Larry) and Norman LeBoon – the guy arrested for threatening Congressman Cantor.
The problem is, I may have mixed up the two photos and need help telling who is who so I can get the posts done.
Any ideas which is which?
Is this one Ben?
Or This one?
Thank you for your assistance in this.

Virginia Right! had the opportunity to speak with Republican US Senator John Thune of South Dakota this afternoon on a conference call concerning the Health Care bill that just passed and the Senate Reconciliation votes taking place this evening.
On the bill itself, Senator Thune said:
“First off, this is a disaster. It’s passage is tragic for the future of America. Not only because it’s bad Health Care policy, but because of all of the debt we are going to pile on, the games that were played to understate the true cost of this and the tricks and gimmicks that were used betrays the future generations because it’s going to cost us trillions and trillions of dollars more than anybody anticipated.”
Q. Where do we go from here?
“We have the reconciliation bill in front of us, and I’m not optomistic we are going to have a lot of success changing it. The Democrats are going to stick together on most of these amendments and try to block them, but we are going to make them make some really hard votes. And the other thing I don’t like about this reconciliation bill is it has that whole student loan takeover in it as well. They are pulling the loans into the Federal Government and we all know that is going to cost the taxpayers a whole lot more. They are now using revenue from that program to finance the health care plan. We are not only taxing small businesses, and Seniors and individuals and families, and cutting Medicare recipients, now we’re going to tax students to pay for this too. We are going to do everything we can, but this is an issue we are going to have to take to the voters. And if they give us a chance, we can actually repeal and replace this with something that actually drives health care costs down, as opposed to increasing costs which is what this bill does.”
On taking money out of Medicare:
“There is a lot of sleight of hand going on here. The way that these trust funds inter-operate with each other is very misleading in my view. Essentially, all of the so called Medicare savings and medicare payroll increases are going to get credited to the Medicare trust fund, which is why the Democrats have argued that this extends the life of Medicare. But we finally got an answer in response to a question to the CBO ‘Isn’t this double counting?‘, and the answer is yes. Because they are using these “new revenues” to pay for the new health care entitlement program and at the same time crediting that to the Medicare Trust fund. What that does is put an IOU in the [Medicare Trust fund] that will have to be borrowed when it comes time to pay Medicare benefits. So they are basically spending the same money twice. They are also using Social Security revenues to understate the cost of the bill.”
What are your thoughts on the Legislation Virginia AG Cuccinelli has filed?
Depending on how these law suits go, and our state [South Dakota] is one of them that are entering into this litigation, I hope that this will eventually get in front of the Supreme Court, and we answer these questions about how much the government can mandate on the American people. I hope that these states that are filing legislation at least get their day in court, because these are issues that need to be decided.”

What a breath of fresh air!
The big surprises of the day were Dick Cheney and Scott Brown 41.
The most amazing aspect of this gathering is the huge numbers of young people. College students outnumber the long time GOP’ers 2 or 3 to 1. Failed policies of the Obama administration and the outright lies have opened the eyes of today’s youth in numbers that amaze even me.
Day two begins in the morning, but tonight the bloggers are all invited to a Bloggers Bash at the Freedom Works HQ here in D.C.
Although I did not get a chance to speak with them, Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe just walked through the Blogger’s Lounge. These are the young journalists that single handedly exposed ACORN as the corrupt organization that they are.
Perhaps tomorrow!

LaPierre has exposed these lies with absolute proof, something the Obama administration fails to show. A number of video clips from 2000 and before. Wayne LaPierre took some heat for his stance that Bill Clinton and Al Gore were allowing deaths in order to blame the NRA and guns, while not enforcing existing laws.
He received cheers for standing by his statement. Tim Russert turned beet red, but the NRA leader held his ground and has been completely vindicated by programs like Richmond, Va. implemented and cut gun deaths by 40%.

We can beat the left, we are going to beat them this year and in 2012, they better look out.

I love CPAC. It is like Woodstock except we have a natural high, because we are right.
You can’t have freedom and President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. (Audience member shouts “three stooges”)
1:22 PM – Tucker
Lint started yesterday and we need to give up using the term “Mainstream Media”. There is nothing Mainstream about ignoring news that does not fit into your political agenda.
If news is not interesting, people will not read it. The “Mainstream” media assumes people have a moral obligation to read them.
Tucker just ended the shortest speech of his life.

I could just imagine that conversation.
President Obama: Welcome Reverend Sharpton. Please have a seat.
Reverend Al: Thank you. Good to see you again. I have a couple of ideas to run by you, and I think they will get America working again.
President Obama: Cool. I could use some help. Things have been going, well, not exactly as planned.
Reverend Al: You got that right.
President Obama: (Dirty look)
Reverend Al: My first idea is pretty simple. We simply redefine welfare as a job. Millions of people will then be employed, and they will all be at least as productive as you and I are. And we could knock that nasty unemployment number down to nothing. Hell, Matthews and Olbermann will run hour long specials, and them big mouth Bee-atches on The View will have you on at least once a week. And if we also add in unemployment as a job, we will need to import people from, say, Haiti, to “fill” the positions.
President Obama: Interesting, but Limbaugh, Fox and those damn Teabaggers would see right through that. Besides, I have already created or saved lots of jobs.
Reverend Al: Sorry to put a damper on that, but do you really thing you should count saved Acorn jobs?
President Obama: Ok. That’s not funny. What else you got?
Reverend Al: Ok. Here’s an employment idea that has actually worked. You find some poor ghetto girl that is late for supper, smear her with dog crap ….
President Obama:
Reverend Al: But, but, but …
President Obama: And call Michelle. Somebody needs to put Al here on a diet.
President Obama: (To his secretary) Get me Olbermann and Matthews. I have an idea….

Small corrections. That’s the only way to turn a large ship. And in his first year he attempted to over correct. And as happens when you over correct, disaster often occurs.
Recent elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts were the results of this abrupt turn to the left.
Did the president or his party hear the warnings? Who knows. In the State of the Union Speech he claimed he did not turn the wheel hard enough. Full speed left and full denial.
Blame Bush, blame the Republicans, but he sees nothing in his radical agenda that needs changing except more speed.
Totally astonishing!
At this point, the remaining (and growing) sane citizens of the United States have no choice but to force a correction in November, 2010. And to fight with every fiber of our beings to oust the Progressive Socialists who wish to do irreparable harm to this country back into the bowels of the foul sewers from which they slithered.
Our fight is for our survival as a nation. Already Speaker Pelosi is advertising her desire to cannibalize the military to push her social agenda. These people must be stopped if we are to survive.
The only solution is a total and complete purge of Progressives from the House, Senate and eventually the White House. Our weapons are our pens, phones and the ballot box. Volunteer, make calls, write letters and knock doors. We are in greater peril as a nation than we have ever been before.
A huge mistake was made at the ballot box in November, 2008. The ballot box is where we will make our correction.

As usual, Americans will jump in to aleviate the suffering and, hopefully, save some lives. And we should.
But we will be doing this on borrowed money because our government has been running up massive debt for so long that we are in a massive financial hole.
But what happens when we can no longer borrow money to support extravagant and unaffordable Socialism currently being forced upon is? Even China, a Communist country, is lecturing us on the danger of the massive and rising debt.
At some point, the United States will no longer be able to respond to horrible tragedies like the one in Haiti because we can’t afford it.
And when we are financially unable to help our fellow humans, how easy will it be to sit back, helpless, and let others die?

I ran into fellow blogger Greg of Black Velvet Bruce Li, and we may have been the only bloggers in attendance.
Note: This was sent from my new Droid phone using the free app wpToGo. The photo was incorrectly displayed and was too large. I have corrected it on my desktop. There is a free Photoshop App that I am downloading ASAP. While blogging from a Droid may be useful, it does take a bit of adaptation.

Democrats were quick to blame the Bush war spending on the economic downturn in spite of the fact that they took over the House and Senate prior to the beginning of the recession, in 2006. Almost as soon as Pelosi and Reid began pushing their liberal agenda, the economy took a nose dive. Barney Frank’s use of Freddie and Fannie as his personal welfare housing slush fund tore the foundation from beneath the economy.
While Bush was in charge, it was easy to blame him for the economic retreat. Now that Obama has had a year of calling the shots and the Democrats have controlled the House and Senate for 3 years now, the economy and jobs continue to decline, despite promised relief from the Obama stimulus package, bailouts and totally unfettered spending.
With Bush gone and Democrats totally in control, the common denominator in the downturn turns out to be the Democrats.
This party is incapable of recognizing the enemy in the war on terror, the war on the recession, the war on the free market and the war on the environment.
Just this week, Obama took the first steps in recognizing that the war on terror was a real war, and not something concocted by Republicans.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plan to make the world “like” us, by bowing and kissing terrorist’s ass has had the opposite effect. He (and America) are seen as weak.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plan to stimulate jobs has failed. And by many accounts has actually had the opposite effect.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plan to control the environment with Cap and Trade taxation is based on a hoax.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plan to Socialize Medicine has failed and that the bill that will end up regurgitated by Pelosi and Reid is not reform at all. It will force Insurance Companies to raise prices and even more to be uninsured as a result. The phrase First, do no harm is utterly meaningless to him.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plans caused Virginia and New Jersey to reject Democrats by wide margins.
Obama should be humbled to learn that his plan to force an unwilling America into Socialism has ensured the destruction of the Democratic party, and unless he is stopped, the financial ruin of a once great country.
But, as we all know, narcissists are not humble.

Obama the Cat Herder
What is a Socialist Liberal President to do? The Senate has bastardized the bill into an amalgamation of special interest pork and payoffs, yet still laughingly call it a “Health Reform” Bill. Every Senator on the left has received a “bribe” of one type or another, most having little or nothing to do with Health Care.
This bill will force married couples to pay more, it forces Insurance Companies to accept pre-existing conditions and stop maximum payout limits. In short, it forces Insurers to raise our prices so that Obama and the Democrats can claim they reformed Health Care. Next!
But they did not touch Health Care prices. They have only damaged Insurance Companies.
Now Roland Burris, in true Chicago Politics at it’s best demands a bribe. It won’t be called a bribe, of course. And it won’t be paid with tax dollars. Nope. Obama will simply put it on the National MasterCard. And leave it to someone else to deal with when the Adults return to D.C.
Honestly, it must be like herding cats for BO.
Louisiana got $300 Million. I would guess Illinois would get at least double that. Oh, and the Terrorists.
Have no fear. Burris’ convictions have a price, as do all Democrats. Let’s just wait and see how bad Obama and his Replacement hurt us.
A billion perhaps?

Al's in trouble!
I do have a suggestion for Albert. My Uncle Bill was a great guy. I loved to hang out with him. He would be in the middle of a sentence and if he saw a kid, he would always say “Pull my finger”.
We tried to warn them, but pull it they would.
And of course, Uncle Bill would slice the air with a roaring rendition staring last nights beans and beer. Yep. A big old Hillbilly fart, right out there for the world to hear.
Heck, I’d pay Gore $5 to pull his finger.
But most people don’t have such a vivid and wonderful memory of my Uncle Bill. Gore probably couldn’t get a dollar from most folks.
But, who knows. People have been listening to Gore’s crap for years.

Blowing Away Democrats Chances
Strangely, that is also the only one of the three races (Virginia, New Jersey and NY-23) in which President Obama did not campaign. Perhaps if he used the same strategy in Virginia and New Jersey the Democrats would have fared better.
Here is why the Democrats are in serious trouble in 2010:
Refusal to accept the truth. Democrats insist on laying the blame on Creigh Deeds.
If only a more progressive candidate, like Moran or Terry Mac had won the primary. The Obama voters that put him in office would have turned out. A low voter turnout combined with a large drop in the African American vote would have put one of the other primary candidates in office.
But the facts just don’t support that common belief in New Jersey or Virginia.
So, despite the numerous polls attempting to show this was not a referendum on Obama, the numbers say otherwise. Moderate voters simply shifted to the right. McDonnell won the great masses in the middle. The moderates.
I snicker when I read the lefty blogs analysis insisting that Deeds was the wrong candidate. A more liberal candidate would have brought out the Obama voters.
But, as we can see, it was not a case of too few voters turning out. It was a case of the moderates moving to McDonnell. A more liberal candidate would have likely driven more moderates to vote for McDonnell.
The Democrats were defeated, not by a poor Deeds campaign, although that likely made things worse. But rather by a huge (and growing) backlash to Obama and Pelosi.
Former President George W. Bush caused a huge negative headwind for Republicans. The wind has now shifted. This time, the wind is blowing to the left. And it is picking up velocity.
With every radical bill, every radical Czar and inept policies for Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the rest of the Foreign Policy agenda, Obama increases the likelihood of the demise of the Democrat’s majorities every day.
