The Gipper stars in this new video, released by the Republican Study Committee. It’s as powerful as it is chilling, to hear Ronald Reagan’s predictions about government, and then see today’s Democrats fulfill those prophecies. Today’s Democrats are led by a woman who said we needed to pass a massive health care takeover bill in order to find out what’s in it . Well, today’s Democrats are also led by a man who is evidently corrupting the Food & Drug Administration for the sake of “bending the cost curve” to make Obamacare somewhere near fiscally feasible. That’s something he said he would never do – he even promised that if you like your health care/doctor/you name it, you could keep it. We’re finding out what’s in the bill – …
In this video, a woman asks California Congressman Pete Stark (D), in congress for 37 years, about his statement that Obamacare makes Health Care a right. Her comment is that this “right” necessarily compels providers to use their skills and training, and forces others to pay for it. This is a type of slavery.
Amazing video. Stark thinks the Federal Government can do anything it wants.
It really is too bad they don’t make a little blue pill for leadership. Barack Obama surely needs one. Like we were saying before the election that put this dunderhead in office, he has no executive experience. Now, the world understands exactly what that means. This president has absolutely no idea how to handle a crisis. Any crisis.
He is not even up to the task of day to day operations of the country.
Nearly half of the states are suing the Federal Government over Obamacare and it’s unconstitutional mandates, abandoning Obama on Health Care.
Out of frustration over the growing crimes and influx of illegals coming into Arizona, the state was forced to pass a law which allows them to do what Obama will not – secure the boarder. And Obama files a lawsuit to allow him to continue his dereliction of duty. Other states are doing the same, abandoning Obama on Immigration and Border Security.
And the oil spill has forced Gulf states to go around Obama to try to prevent or at least mitigate damage from the Obama oil spill. They have been forced to abandon Obama on this crisis.
The economy, unemployment, the Middle East, Terrorism, Security – you name it. Barack Obama is inept and impotent.
Our Socialist leaning President has nothing but praise for Europe’s humanitarian treatment of it’s citizens. Health care, employer mandates, taxes, taxes and more taxes. We should be just like them! But for now, we will just borrow the money and put it on a tab to be paid back with interest at a later date.
So, just how long must a single man in the UK work to have all these “free” benefits?
How many minutes out of each day are working to pay taxes? 2 hours? 4? Well, if you add up what they are paying in Britain, and how many hours a single male works each day just to pay his taxes, you will be astonished.
Have a look at this video. This is where we are headed. Very soon! In fact, we are not far away already.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. Today’s rating is the lowest earned by the president since the passage of his health care proposal two months ago.
“The New Benefit Will Cost $3,380 For Each Dependent, Raising Premiums By 0.7 Percent In 2011 For Employer Plans, according to the department’s mid-range estimate. Some 1.2 million young adults are expected to sign up, more than half of whom would have been uninsured.” (“New Coverage For Young Adults Will Raise Premiums,” The Associated Press, 5/10/10)
National Enquirer Names Vera Baker as Obama Mistress - Cheating Hearts!
Remember a short while back when President Obama was caught lying? Ok, not about Health Care, the banking bill, or one of dozens of other cases. But when he slipped out of the White House to attend, ahh hem, a Soccer match his daughter was in. Only there was no soccer game? And laa the mainstream media dropped it? Turns out, the National Enquirer did not drop it!
I know. The National Enquirer. Normally I would not even bother to believe a publican like that, but given their accuracy with John Edwards and Tiger Woods, and the fact they are accusing the president of the United States of cheating, it is hard not to listen this time.
There is a hotel tape and witnesses that have been paid. And no one in their right mind would have the guts to report something this big without absolute truth.
Richmond Tea Party joins other local tea parties in asking the Congressional Black Caucus to provide evidence of name calling at Health Care vote. We want the facts.
Below is a letter sent to the Congressional Black Caucus asking for proof that racial slurs were used.
Obama decided to use the EPA because Cap and Trade is bogged down. EPA based their action on the questionable accuracy of the East Anglia climate data.
Ken Cuccinelli believes the EPA has a political agenda and it must be stopped. This is why he file suit.
Cuccinelli also filed suit in Federal court against the Obamacare bill that is now law. Congress exceeded it’s authority to require citizens to purchase Health Care.

This article in the Weekly Standard by Matthew Continetti made me wonder what is happening to conservatism today. Breaking up big banks and adding regulations is conservative? Here’s some highlights:
Over the last week, however, Paul Krugman has written two columns saying the size of the banks is irrelevant; what matters are the rules the government sets for the banks, and how well the government enforces those rules. (As an aside, my favorite line in these Krugman pieces is when he says that financial reform is “not like health reform, which was fairly straightforward once you cut through the nonsense. Reasonable people can and do disagree about exactly what we should do to avert another banking crisis.” So you see, anyone who disagrees with Krugman on health care is insane.)
So why is the Weekly Standard giving positive credit to Paul Krugman?
The conclusion is equally startling:
They [the large banks] will be able to game the system so that the rules Krugman champions won’t be enforced. * * * Why not limit the size of banks while policing their behavior? It’s not an either/or issue. Do both.
Perhaps this is just a momentarily lapse on the part of the Weekly Standard. Let’s hope so.
Last Week, Virginia Right! spoke with Senator John Thune (R-SD) on a media conference call. That post may be viewed here.
While that conversation was specific to the Health Care Reconciliation Bill facing the Senate at the time, Senator Thune is also the Chairman of the US Senate Republican Policy Committee.
The following communication from Senator Thune addresses the failures of the Obama Administration to fulfill it’s stated actions on Iran and their nuclear capabilities.
After a Year of Engagement, Iran is One Year Closer to a Bomb
Executive Summary
• The United Nations Security Council has been demanding for years that Iran cease its uranium enrichment program. Barack Obama made clear when he was a candidate for President that diplomacy without precondition was his preferred policy to address Iran’s nuclear program.
• As President he implemented that policy, saying he would give it until the end of 2009 to see “serious movement on the part of the Iranians.” Secretary of State Clinton agreed that “crippling sanctions” should be the consequence if diplomatic offers to Iran “are either rejected or the process is inconclusive or unsuccessful.”
• The process has certainly been unsuccessful. There is little more to show for the year of engagement than an additional year’s worth of enriched uranium and functioning centrifuges. A publicly revealed covert uranium enrichment facility is just the most recent evidence Iran has no intention of halting its nuclear program.
• Tough sanctions are intended to prevent Iran from continuing its nuclear program in defiance of international demands. If the U.S. does not impose them after insisting it would, both allies and enemies will question our credibility.
• Candidate Obama said such sanctions would include banning the export of refined petroleum to Iran. Both Houses have overwhelmingly passed bills accomplishing this, and a final bill should be sent to the President now.
• These bills should not be weakened in conference committee to provide additional waiver authority for “cooperating countries.” If the Administration wishes to exempt companies engaged in economic activity supporting the Iranian regime, the bills currently contain all the waiver authority necessary. In any event, China and Russia should not qualify as cooperating countries.
• It does not upset President Obama’s policy to implement sanctions concurrently with diplomatic engagement, as sanctions can provide leverage in negotiations. Additional sanctions should remain in place until Iran verifiably and comprehensively complies with all international demands on its nuclear program.
Jim Hoeft at Bearing Drift has some Pod Cast interviews with Virginia AG Ken Cuccinelli who is planning on filing a lawsuit against the ObamaCare debacle as well as Congressman Rob Wittman on Health Care.
Additionally, Michael Steel posted a guest post on Bearing Drift – Virginia, Fire Pelosi.
If you care at all about this bill that was rammed down America’s throat this weekend, you need to visit these links at Bearing Drift.
As usual, Jim has done an outstanding job on the edge of the issue!
Gene Simmons, famous front man of the rock group KISS voted for Obama, but is not happy with Obama’s foreign policy or tax policies, economy or Health Care! And he is not shy about saying so.
On a recent FoxNews interview, Simmons was seriously unhappy with Obama’s plans to grab the wealth Simmons has worked so hard to accumulate. He has started a Life Insurance Company called Cool Springs Life to protect the wealth of high-net-worth individuals.
Details were not very forthcoming during the interview, but Simmon’s company has created a way that people with tons of money can avoid paying these higher taxes using a Life Insurance policy as cover.
So, while Obama plans to soak the rich, as predicted, the rich are paying smart lawyers to keep Obama away from their fortunes. Which means that these massive debt loads that the Socialist progressives are putting in place will be financed by … the middle class.
Here is how the liberal viewers see Obama’s first year. A resounding F. See why Teachers don’t let kids grade their own papers? Especially the narcissistic ones.
Rep. Eric Cantor (VA) Steve Moore, Wall Street Journal Mark Mix, National Right to Work

Eric Cantor (R-Va) Speaking:
Speaking on the ambitious agenda of the left one year ago, Cantor thanked the activists that for winning the debate on Health Care and other radical programs.
Average salary at Dept of Education now over $100,000 per year.
Government spending is out of control. We need to focus on private sector jobs. More people need to be concerned about how high their taxes are, not how rich their government benefits are.
Democrat Martha Coakley has conceded the election to Republican Scott Brown putting a Republican in the “Kennedy” seat for the first time since 1953.
The Democrats still don’t get it. This event is a magnitude 10 earthquake and Democrats are now getting a glimpse of the Tsunami on the way in November.
President Obama is now 0 for 4.
Olympics – Failed
Virginia – Failed
New Jersey – Failed
Massachusetts – Failed
Bur the Democrats refuse to believe this has anything to do with Obama and the Health Care debacle.
What is a Socialist Liberal President to do? The Senate has bastardized the bill into an amalgamation of special interest pork and payoffs, yet still laughingly call it a “Health Reform” Bill. Every Senator on the left has received a “bribe” of one type or another, most having little or nothing to do with Health Care.
This bill will force married couples to pay more, it forces Insurance Companies to accept pre-existing conditions and stop maximum payout limits. In short, it forces Insurers to raise our prices so that Obama and the Democrats can claim they reformed Health Care. Next!
But they did not touch Health Care prices. They have only damaged Insurance Companies.
Now Roland Burris, in true Chicago Politics at it’s best demands a bribe. It won’t be called a bribe, of course. And it won’t be paid with tax dollars. Nope. Obama will simply put it on the National MasterCard. And leave it to someone else to deal with when the Adults return to D.C.
Honestly, it must be like herding cats for BO.
Louisiana got $300 Million. I would guess Illinois would get at least double that. Oh, and the Terrorists.
Have no fear. Burris’ convictions have a price, as do all Democrats. Let’s just wait and see how bad Obama and his Replacement hurt us.
