Republican Debate: Perry Disappoints – Romney Rises

There was one really good line in last night’s debate. Former New Mexico Governor and presidential candidate Gary Johnson quipped “My next-door neighbor’s two dogs have created more shovel-ready jobs than this current administration“. This was a debate jointly sponsored by Fox News and Google which is almost as odd as the TEA Party teaming [...]

Yesterday’s Primaries Signal the End for Progressive Democrats

The Tea Party smoked in Nevada and the Progressives smoldered in Arkansas. Blanche Lincoln (D-AK) defeated the Progressive’s choice who was backed by $10 Million in Union money. Lt. Gov. Bill Halter’s massive influx of money was not enough to overcome even Democrats disdain for the Progressive failures forced on the citizens of the country.

Top 5 Winners And Losers In 2009 Election

#1 Winner: Conservatives and Republicans.

While a number of lefties are trying to say that the Republicans won because they ran a Moderate candidate in Bob McDonnell, that’s a bit much after months of hearing how Bob McDonnell was such a right wing monster he was going to chain women to the kitchen sink. And what about Ken Cuccinelli? And the NY-23 race sent a message to the Republican Party – No more squishy liberal Republicans. They can’t be trusted.

Delegate OBannon Easily Defeats Liberal Democrat Tom Shields

The Democrat Party of Virginia spent truckloads of money in a futile attempt to defeat Republican Incumbent Delegate John O’Bannon M.D. in the 73rd House District.

The landslide victory saw Dr. O’Bannon receiving an overwhelming 62.3% of the vote while Shields received only 37%, an embarrassing total considering the massive amounts of money that the DPVA spent on totally false smear mailings. It does go to show that the voters of the 73rd are far smarter than Tom Shields and his bosses Tim Kaine and Nancy Pelosi give them credit for being.
