This video was done by a woman who is the result of a botched abortion. She was born alive and discarded. A nurse heard her cries and saved her life.

It was some years ago that John Lennon challenged us to “imagine” a life under Socialism. We no longer need to imagine.

Just look around you.

Europe is fully engulfed in Socialism and every country is failing and imploding under massive debt and stagnant economies. And the USA is right in the mix.

We no longer have to imagine. We see what Lennon was singing about.

Now we need to remember what it was like to be free.

The problem with Socialism is that the government needs to make certain segments of the population the enemy. Those with money. Those who support freedom and those who remember why the founders included the Second Amendment. Not so we could hunt, but so we could protect ourselves from the type of oppressive government we fought  so we could create the most perfect form of government the world has ever seen – Democracy.

Only a people who self govern are truly free. When we give up our liberty to government, it is likely lost forever.

It is time for Americans to unite. Not under Utopian ideas put forth by Marxists and glorified in song by drug addled minds bent on creating an unrealistic society that has never worked and never will.

I am a fan of the Beatles and John Lennon was a great influence on the culture of the world. A lot of it was good, some not.

The song Imagine has long been a favorite of mine for it’s pure musical simplicity and even it’s well meaning but misguided lyrics. In producing the musical track for this video I used only an acoustic guitar – fittingly a 1964 Epiphone “Paul McCartney” Texan. The same year and model that McCartney has no doubt used to play this song.

We no longer have to imagine a world without religion. Without God. We have arrived. And the result is devastating.

Unfortunately, there are those among us who are happy to sit back and let others do all the work. Socialism breeds laziness and apathy. It stifles innovation, self-reliance and work ethic. It promotes failure and punishes success.

Lennon challenged us to imagine.

Remember when Tim Kaine was known in these parts as the Absentee Governor?

Obama made him the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and he abandoned Virginia to stump for his Puppet Master Barack Obama. Virginia went from a $1.5 Billion surplus when Kaine started and due to his abandonment of the stare to concentrate on his DNC job, Virginia suffered some of the worse financial times in her history.

And now the No Show governor wants to be a US Senator.

He flat out does not deserve to hold public office. Abandoning Virginians in our time of need is inexcusable.

This video uses what I call the “Tax Me Timmy” talking doll – a Raggedy Andy (or Ann if you prefer) companion doll.

The video itself is a Parody of Paul Shanklin’s “Who Wants McCain” from a few years back, which is a Parody of the CCR Song “Who will Stop the Rain”.

I played an acoustic guitar, an Electric Guitar, electric bass and used a Midi based Drum Set for all the music. I also recorded the vocals, so  no, you can’t book the band.

This video pokes fun at Tim Kaine, but his poor performance as Governor of Virginia should make everyone understand that he is not to be trusted. President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid own him lock, stock and barrel. Kaine was hand picked by Obama for this Senate opening because Obama is 100% positive that Kaine will do what Obama wants no matter how much Virginia suffers.

Why Pro Life?

Every year, over a million babies are aborted in the United States. These children are not just an unwanted collection of cells growing in the mother. They are the collective culmination of generations going back countless centuries. Each child has the genetic makeup of the parents, as well as uncles, aunts, grandparents, great-grandparents and on and on.

Each child has recognizable features like eyes, ears, hair and personality traits of those who came before him or her.

The mother is aborting her family tree. Bits of a dear departed grandmother, a favorite uncle, or a cousin are all in the DNA of this unique individual.

And what might have that tiny life have become, if he were allowed to live? What discoveries will the world never know?

And what will the soul of the aborted child think and see? A mother’s regret in later life? Or sooner?

Only God will know these children taken from the earth before they even had a chance.

I wrote this song and recorded it in my home “studio”. I will admit the words were hard to sing without getting choked up. A lot of emotion went into writing this.

I hope the Video and the music somehow conveys the sense of loss I feel for the millions of children our society throws away before they are even born.

You have most likely seen some of the previous postings by Virginia Right’s newest blogger, Layla the Fedora wearing Blog Dog.

Every now and again, Layla gets really upset and animated about certain topics.

And Barack Obama eating Dogs was one topic that Layla feels very strongly about.

So she begged me and pleaded with me to let her actually record a video of her expressing her distaste (pardon the pun) of Obama eating Dogs.

So this is her first animated video, and I assure you Layla is completely unleashed!

The video is about 20 minutes and at the time, YouTube did not allow videos that long, so I posted it on Vimeo and had forgotten about it.

Yesterday I received an email that someone had “used” it in a folder for something or other. Breitbart videos are in demand and I suppose someone found it through a search.

Well, I clicked to Vimeo to look at the video and noticed that not only is Andrew Breitbart in the video, but standing beside him in most of the footage was Jane Jamison of Uncoverage.net.

Of course you are aware that Breitbart has passed, but when I realized that it was Jamison beside him in the video, a fellow Californian, and both are now gone, I got an eerie feeling.

Jane Jamison was an assumed name because she lived in San Francisco and we all know how Conservatives are treated there.

I sat beside Jane in 2010 and again in 2011. She was frustrated with the bad internet service at the CPAC Hotel and vowed she would not return.

Little did we know …

Warriors both!

One of the most powerful voices in music sings no more, except in the hearts of those who loved her.

Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton yesterday and was pronounced dead after a bright but all too brief life on Earth.

There are few voices that I have heard that were as powerful and pitch perfect as hers. Her amazing combination of vocal control, vibrato, octave jumps and power had to make anyone who heard this phenomenal lady sing stop in their tracks.

And like many of those who are given such an amazing gift, it takes such a toll on their personal lives and exacts such a personal price that the down side often overshadows the talent and beauty of the up side. From Houston’s troubled marriage to her drug and alcohol problems, this bright star burned out far too soon.

She was only 48 years old.

Pray that she finally finds the serenity, true happiness and peace that she gave to so many through her music, yet was unable to find while among us.

While she had a number of powerfully memorable songs, one springs to mind on the occasion of her death. “I Will Always Love You” – written by Dolly Parton with lyrics that seem eerily appropriate to describe her life as well as her death.
