BREAKING NEWS: Indigent Defense Study Bill to be Debated in Senate Rules Friday AM!

I have just heard that Friday – February 5 – at 930AM the Senator Dance Indigent Defense study bill (SJR51) will be heard in the Senate Rules Committee.  If your senator is on this list, contact him or her and say YES to better indigent defense services!

Senate Rules

McDougle (Chairman), Norment, Hanger, Newman, Ruff, Wagner, Obenshain, Vogel, Stuart, Stanley, Carrico, Reeves, Saslaw, Locke, Dance

The blogger from VR might be there to speak on the bill.

BTW, while you are emailing your senator – ask them to vote NO on the Sports Hall of Fame bill that “nationalizes” the private Sports Hall of Fame.
