Hal Shurtleff, director and sort of founder of Camp Constitution, will come speak at the Mechanicsville Tea Party this Thursday night at 7 pm at its new location, the American Legion Hall, 8700 Bell Creek Road, Mechanicsville, VA.
Here’s a bio of Hal Shurtleff:
Born, raised and resides in Boston, MA Married with five children-four of which are currently home schooled. Served 9 years in US Army and Army Reserves including a stint with the 101 Airborne. Has served as a field rep for The John Birch Society since 1990, appeared on numerous radio and TV shows. In 2008, co-founded Camp Constitution and serves as the camp’s director.
We want interested folks from several Tea Party Groups to come out and hear about the camp! I want to look into a Camp Constitution Virginia! Training teens in real history and constitutional values such as One Nation Under God is critical to keep the Republic going – at least the dream of what the Republic was and can be again! I expect that homeschoolers might be keenly interested the camp and also what the Tea Party can do for you!
