Check out this wonderful fabulous video from the rally in Lansing at MSU:

Another reports to the Daily Paul that this crowd was 3800!

Cong. Paul also went to a church in Detroit as well and earned four standing ovations:

Some leaders in Detroit’s two congressional district organizations are urging Democrats to vote for Paul in an effort to hurt Michigan native and Republican co-frontrunner Romney.

“What about Ron Paul don’t I like?,” [Detroit resident Jennifer] Wallisch asked rhetorically. “What he’s proposing will do a whole lot more to help the people of Detroit. Obama was a let-down.”

Here’s a video from the Daily Paul:

Arab-American leaders and newspapers endorsed Paul:

The Dearborn-based Arab-American News, the largest Arab newspaper in Michigan, endorsed Paul, praising what it called his “refreshing, forthright foreign policy philosophy as one of his greatest strengths at a time when the specter of a potentially catastrophic war looms.”

And two noted Arab-American leaders said today they’re also backing Paul. Tonight, Paul will speak at a rally for Paul in Dearborn that is co-sponsored by the Arab Student Union at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Ron Paul’s message of Constitutional non-intervention sits well with Arab-Americans as it should with all of us:

On the campaign trail, Paul has repeatedly said the U.S. should not support military efforts in Iran, Syria, and elsewhere. He also has attacked what he sees as the erosion of civil liberties over the past decade. Both messages resonate with many Arab-Americans and Muslim-Americans. Paul’s conservative social views also are supported by some in Muslim and Arab communities. On Friday, fliers in Arabic and English supporting Paul were handed out at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, the region’s biggest mosque.

There are hundreds of thousands of Arab-Americans in Michigan:

According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the city with the largest percentage of Arab Americans is Dearborn, Michigan, a southwestern suburb of Detroit, at nearly 40%. The Detroit metropolitan area is home to the largest concentration of Arab Americans (403,445), followed by the New York City Combined Statistical Area (371,233), Los Angeles (308,295), Chicago (176,208), and Washington D.C. (168,208).[2] (NOTE: This information is reportedly based upon survey findings, but is contradicted by information posted on the Arab American Institute website itself, which states that California as a whole only has 272,485, and Michigan as a whole only 191,607. 2010 American Community Survey information from the American Factfinder website gives a figure of about 168,000 for Michigan.)

In 2008, Mitt Romney won in Michigan with just under 340,000 to John McCain just over 250,000.   If Paul could get 75-80% of the Arab vote, he would have perhaps 150,000 votes juts out of that.  Add that to those inner city voters and a nice percentage in the congressional district of Justin Amash, a constitutional conservative in the Ron Paul style.  Amash has endorsed Paul:

Amash is the only legislator in the state and national delegation to back Paul, a Texas Congressman seeking the GOP nomination over Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich, who has not campaigned here.

Tomorrow night, Cong. Ron Paul will speak to his supporters from the Old Dominion, near his campaign HQ.  i am sorry work commitments will keep me away.  Maybe a surprise showing might be wonderful as we get to Super Tuesday!
