CPAC Live Blog: Mitt Romney Speaking

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney comes to the podium at CPAC!

Mitt is introduced by Dr. Jay Sekulow, American Center for Law and Justice as Mr. Fix It.
He said he would like to see Governor Romney as the Republican nominee.

Another surprise!!! SCOTT BROWN will introduce Remney.

My name is Scott Brown, I am the new Senator from Massachusetts and my truck is outside.

Our grassroots campaign made history, but in the beginning, he could hold his rally’s in a phone booth. Romney was behind him from the beginning.

1:45 PM – Mitt Romney Up!

Says Lindsay Vaughan’s Olympic Gold medal was stripped because they realized President Obama was going downhill faster than Lindsay!

Obama’s State of the Union speech was not as loud as the silent words mouthed by Justice Alito when he said “Not True” to Obama’s accusations of SCOTUS error on the campaign finance bill.

Obama gave himself a B+, but the 4 million people that lost their jobs last year will not agree.

Obama has blamed the Republicans, blamed Bush and even the American people.

Obama care is bad care for America.

Bush will be judged by history far more kindly than Obama. He brought us out of 9/11, took on the teacher’s union, and he kept us safe.

Romney respects Bush’s silence and he also respects Dick Cheney’s “I don’t give a damn” response.

When it comes to pinning blame – pin the tail on the donkey’s.

We said during the campaign that this is not the time for on the job training. None of the Obama advisers have spent time in private business and as a result, Obama failed to focus, and he has failed.

Ask yourself if what Obama did has helped or hurt the economic environment. Cap and trade hurt. Health Care hurt. Obama called his agenda ambitious, Romney calls it reckless.

Obama has cause uncertainty in business and we are not better off than we were $1.8 billion ago.

Pelosi, Reid and Obama have failed the American people and that is why they will soon be out the door. Isn’t it ironic that those who have such contept for the private sector will soon find themselves back in it.

Instead of leading the world in borrowing, we should be leading the world in building a stronger economy and a safer world.

We will put parents and teachers back in charge of education, not the fat cat union bosses we have now.

The liberal agenda suffocates pioneers, innovators and entrepreneurs.

America has been a force of good in the world and for that WE MAKE NO APOLOGY!!!

Standing ovation.

End Romney and Brown speeches.

Nothing is more conservative than a republican wanting to get their majority back. And nothing is more liberal than a republican WITH a majority.
