The Daily Mail reports on election eve that UKIP has a SEVEN point lead over Labour and eleven over the Tories:
An Opinium poll for the Daily Mail puts Ukip comfortably ahead of Labour, on 32 per cent to 25 per cent.
The Conservatives are on 21 per cent, with the Liberal Democrats battling the Greens for fourth place, each on a miserable 6 per cent.
I love this headline and only wish it will be repeated again in 2015!
Ukip closing in on victory: Poll puts Farage seven points ahead on day of crucial EU vote
UKIP hopes to gain local seats, too! The Tories and the LibDems appear to be conceding the EU elections:
David Cameron is ordering Tory troops to focus on a Westminster by-election in Newark early next month as an opportunity to halt the Ukip bandwagon.

The Liberal Democrats are preparing themselves to lose all of their MEPs in the European elections today, according to a leaked document advising top party figures on how to react to the defeat.
It reveals they have been advised to say they ‘expected’ to lose up to all of their 12 representatives in Strasbourg and to simply say they are ‘disappointed’.
Now no complacency here – sing Jerusalem and talk to every voter you can!
