Virginia Delegate Chris Peace (R-97) held a Town Hall meeting in Mechanicsville at the new Mechanicsville Library. The purpose of the meeting was to primarily get input for the upcoming Legislative session next month. Delegate Peace also asked that attendees fill out a survey on the issues expected to arise at the session.
He also speaks about the Tele-Town Hall he held the previous evening and gave the statistics from that conference.
One of the difficulties Delegate Peace faces in representing the 97th House District is the large number of counties including the Counties of Caroline (part), Hanover (part), Henrico (part), King and Queen (part), King William (part), New Kent, and Spotsylvania (part). However, Chris Peace is also one of the most accessible members of the Virginia House.
