What a difference a week makes.
Last week the Democrats were all wee-weed up about Hurricane Isaac and it’s potential to
disrupt the Republican Convention harm the poor people in it’s path.
Turns out, during the Republican Convention that Isaac was more bark than bite. The real problems began after the Republican Convention was completed and is still ongoing.
Mainstream Media “reporters” pondered the visuals of a split screen newscast with the Grand Old Party having a Grand Old Time as black people drown in the other screen.
According to the Weekly Standard:
And at least 13,000 are still without power in Louisiana, according to CNN. “Throughout the state, at least 13,000 homes were damaged, Christina Stephens, a spokeswoman for the Louisiana Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, said Tuesday.”
And, yes. People have died.
Yet last night, not a single word, prayer or even the slightest acknowledgement was given by the Democrats to the people who were oh so important last week when they hoped Isaac would somehow ruin the Republican’s even.
And the Democrats are indeed partying.
After the hurricanes and flooding Virginia has seen of late, you would Tim Kaine would at least have a kind word for the poor, suffering victims of Isaac. (A prayer would be hypocritical since the Democrats removed God from their platform. But Kaine is Catholic and they don’t care right? Right?)
But as long as they can still kill babies, all is right with the Democrats.
