Dumb Asses at Bearing Drift Play Jew Card for Cantor – Forget to Check Their Own Blog for the Pork Serving Eric Cantor

These guys are pulling out all the stops. And it is really getting pathetic.

I don’t bother reading Bearing Drift any more these days because, well, there is nothing I can’t find on Eric Cantor’s websites. But I had a friend send me an email and  I can’t say I am surprised at the All In for Cantor Bearing Drift trying to make something out of the fact that Dave Brat is holding a debate and invited the debate-dodging Cantor. And the only place available – thanks to Eric Cantor buying up the entire Hilton Hotel as soon as the venue was changed – was a restaurant called Honey Baked Ham.

So one of the “in Cantor’s Pocket” writers at the Drifty Boys – JR Hoeft – played the Jew Card.

Here is what this wannabe reporter wrote:

Ponderous question of the day…

Should Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who is Jewish, attend a debate, on the Jewish Sabbath, at a place called “Honey Baked Ham” against an intramural opponent who can barely raise enough money to pay his consultants? Or should he allow his opponent to have his so-called “empty chair” debate, fully-furnished, complete with echo chamber?

Heaven forbid! Is Dave Brat rubbing pork in Eric Cantor’s face? How dare he invite a Jew to a place that serves pork on the Jewish Sabbath!!!

Well, Jimmy, please consider yourself outed.

Guess who else invited Eric Cantor to a pork serving venue on the Jewish Sabbath? And Eric Cantor actually showed up!

If you guessed Eric Cantor you would be correct. Yep. That’s right. This Jew serves pork at the 7th District Roundup every year. On the Sabbath! And beer. And most of his other events involve bacon and other types of pork, often on Saturday. I have always thought that odd. But my devout Jewish friends have explained that Cantor is obviously not an Observant Jew. I am not sure what that means exactly, except that Hoeft – or Cantor if this post came from him, is trying to push just another lie about Dave Brat.

And you should probably check your own blog for contradictory information before you make an ass of yourself blubbering for Cantor. But too late.

Have a look at this post from the Drifty Boys in 2012. The best link to see it is at the Way Back Machine in the previous link because the Drifty Boys changed their Theme since then, but it is still available on their current site for now here, just in a weirdly formatted “scroll down a mile” post. But for your convenience, the pork reference is below:

There were 6,000 supporters this year, the largest Roundup ever. That’s a lot of Brock’s barbecue, cole slaw, baked beans, hotdogs, brownies, cookies, and drinks.
Oh My! Oh My!
Brock’s Barbecue at an Eric Cantor hosted event. How insulting!!! Ha!
Here is the link to the event which mentions “Picnic Fare” – which also includes pork Hotdogs.
Way to go, Drifty Boys. Embarrassing yourself into oblivion.

  1. Tom, this must be the sort of strategic demagoguery and propaganda suggested to Cantor at his Soros backed summit a few weeks ago. Very Alinsky-Like, but silly nonetheless. I think this is indicative of the desperation of Corporatists in the Republican Party. Like the liberals, they do not have a record of successful governing to run on. All they can do is attempt to destroy the folks seeking to hold them accountable for their failures, as is proper to any Republic.

I say bravo, Cantor. You keep trying to lie and deceive, and we’ll keep trying to throw you out of office.

You guys need to lay off Cantor, he is “very busy creating jobs” and once he “gets the senate” he’s going to start doing the right thing and he definitely means it this time around.

I’m serious! You give him “One more chance”, give him the Senate, and then if he gets a R President in 2016, I guarantee you he will stop raising the debt ceiling just like he did in the early 2000’s. He will really, plzzzzz give him one more chance. THIS IS REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT!
