The Throw Granny Under The Bus Plan
Overall public support for President Obama’s Health Care proposal is dropping like a rock as people read and understand what it contains. The President says there is a lot of disinformation out there, then proves it by lying about support from the AARP. “We have the AARP on board because they know this is a good deal for our seniors,” the president said.
The problem is, The AARP hasn’t endorsed any plan yet.
“While the President was correct that AARP will not endorse a health care reform bill that would reduce Medicare benefits, indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate.”
Support for the President’s plan is at 42% in favor, 53% against, falling 5 points in just two weeks. Seniors reject the plan 39% – 56%. And 46% of them were “strongly opposed”.
Seniors are wll aware that 405 of the planned savings under Obamacare is to come from Medicare. Sort of hard to support the “Throw Granny Under The Bus Plan” when you are the Granny in question.
Here’s a novel idea. If Congress wants us to trust them, simply mandate the Government option for our D.C. Legislators. It is impossible to trust someone that is exempting themselves from the bill that is “just what we all need”.
Everyone but them.
