FARAGE: UKIP poised to WIN a SCOTLAND EU MP SEAT!

UKIP Leader Nigel Farage says the party should win a EU MP seat in Scotland and maybe two!

UKIP leader Nigel Farage has told a rally in Edinburgh that his party “will win a seat” for the first time in Scotland in the upcoming European Parliament elections.

He said UKIP would then have a “legitimate voice” in Scotland.

The MEP, who was in Edinburgh to back the party’s candidate David Coburn at a rally, predicted that UKIP was on course to win one seat in the European Parliament in Scotland, adding that “if things go really well, possibly even two”.

Farage contends that a real vote in Scotland for independence is a vote for UKIP and a vote to stay in the Union (That’s the UK Union not the false EU Union) and that SNP Leader Salmond is a “EU federalist”.

The UKIP has no elected officials in Scotland.  Let’s go for TWO!

I recently spoke to successful UKIP candidate in Ulster Henry Riley and he told me that ALL the Scottish newsapapers and media channels ran a solid anti UKIP campaign against David Coburn in Scotland in the weeks leading up to the election.

It is an amazing testimony to the message UKIP is sending our peoples army that in spite of all the vile slurs and negativity the well funded Salmondites could thus throw at him he was resoundingly successful in the face of it and denied Salmond an MEP seat.

It spells the death knell for Salmonds independence bandwagon!

UKIP is an English party. No Scots like them or their message

      • I am so thrilled to get a comment from Scotland! I am for an independent, liberty-loving, free market Scotland. There are at least a few Scottish voters that voted for UKIP in both the Scottish parliament elections and the EU elections. UKIP is a British party. Now I am all for a Scottish spin off of UKIP if that would help although I am not a member of leader of a foreign political party. Thanks Mr. Scotland for coming by and come by again.

That will only happen in your dreams to be quite honest. Less and less people want an independent Scotland (myself included) and Free market ideologies are hated because Thatcher.

          • Thank you for coming by again Mr. Scotland! I wonder what Thatcher did to cause the Scots to dislike her so much. I think she brought sanity to the trade unions, liberated the Falklands from deliberate aggression, tried to restore free market systems and was a euroskeptic. I beg to differ – I think there could be more and more Scots turning to independence in order to get back in the EU (a bit of an irony considering the EU is a superstate) and I think there could be semi-independence alternatives for Scotland such as dominion status (similar to Canada) that could provide de facto independence but the Queen would still be the Sovereign of Scotland.

            Thanks for coming back again.

No problem Sandy. Thatcher is hated here because of the privatisations what destroyed our industry. Unions are very much supported here and we are very much socialist people.

          • Well, the trade unions in the UK were about to destroy the economy for political reasons. Thatcher did many reforms and defended the Falklands from actual invasion. Her biggest weakness was not realizing the EU threat in time to stop it. When she did try to stop it, she was ousted in 1990. Thanks again.

Scotland still relied on union industry. Even now we’re screwed over cos of thatcherism. Literally all the poorest parts of Britain are in Scotland because of her (my own is on there)
