A Census worker was found dead near a Kentucky cemetery. The word ‘fed” was scrawled on the dead man’s chest. This is a horrible killing. But the thing that caught my eye was the statement from the FBI. The AP Reports:
FBI spokesman David Beyer said the bureau is helping state police with the case.
“Our job is to determine if there was foul play involved — and that’s part of the investigation — and if there was foul play involved, whether that is related to his employment as a census worker,” said Beyer.
Sorry, Mr. Beyer. But if I were the Kentucky State Police, I would have to tell you “We got this one”.
An open mind is great, but if you don’t see “foul play” in the case of a dead census worker with FED written on his chest, you really need another career.
