I wrote a few days ago about former Redskin player Clint Didier as a constitutionalist for US Senate from Washington State. Didier is awesome on the issues and is endorsed by Ron Paul (and also Sarah Palin, too) but his polling numbers were a bit weak. It looked like the favorite Dino Rossi would probably win.
But now Rasmussen has a poll out that shows a surge of support for Didier:
Last month, Murray led Didier, a former professional football player, 48% to 40%. Prior to that survey, Didier’s support had ranged from 30% to 37% since January. In the same time period, Murray earned 47% to 51% in match-ups with Didier.
BOTH Didier and Rossi had 48% with Murray at 45%. Here’s a Seattle media article on the same poll.
This would be a shocking sea change in just a few days. There’s still time to help. The Washington Senate GOP primary is August 17. Here’s Didier’s web site if you want to help. Didier helped give Redskin fans many years of fun times (I’m still waiting for the Drew Brees money bomb for Governor of Louisiana in 2015!) now the fans can help Clint take back the Republic! Here’s his web site.
