From the BTSED Department Tonight in Hanover: Protests, Stewart and Signatures!

You had to be there:  I was walking into Anna’s – alongside Corey Stewart and his lovely and attractive wife – when a young woman wearing some sort of clown face shouted out of a car driving by in the parking lot:

Corey Stewart:  You racist piece of s—!

So I said to Stewart:  There’s a great Hanover welcome for you!  🙂

Stewart was charming and a great speaker.  I agreed with most of his platform.  Genuinely can work a room very well.  My next post will be my endorsement for Governor.  I will say Stewart made a good impression.

I also discussed the elected school boards issue (somewhat discreetly) and most of the Hanover voters I met eagerly signed my petitions and one took one of her own (I signed hers to start the process out!) and I got 29 signatures!  It’s BTSED to discuss why we need elected school boards – accountability and opening up the political system.  People were receptive.  A few said no but they were polite about it.

So if are a Virginia voter, come to Hanover County and get us signatures.  Go to hanoverelectedschoolboard [at] or the FB page for Elected School Boards in Hanover.
