Governor Allen has a busy day tomorrow. As I have said before, Dads, remember fathers day. You need to ask your kids to buy this book. I have placed my demand and expect to begin reading What Washington Can Learn From The World of Sports on Father’s day evening. Also, I have received an email from the highest authority praising this book and assuring me I will love it. This, of course, from Susan Allen.
Governor Allen’s Dad (and former Washington Redskin’s Coach) is one of my heroes. More than that, “Coach” was my Dad’s hero. There is no way I can fail to own this book!
From Governor Allen’s office:
Sandwiched around a luncheon speech at the Heritage Foundation about his book, What Washington Can Learn from the World of Sports (www.WhatWashingtonCanLearn.com), Governor Allen has the following book related media appearances for tomorrow, June 3.
We were at Redskins Park today to watch a bit of practice and tape interviews with Larry Michael for the Redskins Report (which aired today and re-airs tonight at 10:30 pm ET on Comcast Sports Net Mid Atlantic) and Ivan Carter for Washington Post Live (see below, airs tomorrow).

I thought that George Allen’s appearance was a nice one. He put himself out in the public, and was ready to answer questions and take criticism.
