GOOD and BAD NEWS from VIRGINIA! RON PAUL GETS MAJORITY of VA DELEGATES! DONNA HOLT lost by less votes than the DELEGATION REFUSED seating!

I have to credit deep background for this news but I believe my sources are reliable.

Good News:  Ron Paul won the majority of the statewide delegates in the Old Dominion!  Chris Stearns was elected to the Platform Committee!

Bad News:  Donna Holt lost her election for National Committeewoman by only a handful of weighted delegate votes – less than the ten delegates from Warren County excluded from the convention!  I am told 4.5 weighted votes – about the votes of two actual delegates!  If three more delegates had come to Richmond, Holt would be National Committeewoman!  But the winner asked her for ideas for the platform.

So, I am both excited and disappointed.  I will try to find out more about the Warren County fiasco.

I am interested about what happened with Warren Co. I hope the Daily Paul keeps up with the story. I give thanks to all the liberty-minded Virginians that pulled this thing off. I am truly proud of you and to be a fellow Virginian. I hope the delegates, and all RP supporters, have a great time in Tampa.
