Box Office Mojo reports that the explicitly Christian (how you like that adverb/noun combo!) major motion picture Soul Surfer has grossed over $21,000,000 as of today and may reach $25,000,000 this weekend!  That puts the lie to the idea that faith-based movies have a limited at best niche market.

Mojo also reported that The Grace Card has grossed as of today nearly $2.5 million!  Considering that the costs were nowhere near that amount, this is a financial success considering a limited budget, release sites and virtually word of mouth advertising.  We’ll see what the DVD turnout is in a few months.  Of course the effects on people’s lives are eternal!  the Grace Card FB page reports two more salvations as a result of the movie.

And Courageous is coming!  It has a powerful trailer.  Perhaps an Oscar-nominated one this coming year.  I’ll watch if they get nominated!
