I am disappointed in the Delaware Senate primary. On the one hand, I think Rep. Castle was beat by too many liberal votes. On the other, I fervently wanted him to win primarily due to the numismatic aspect of Castle’s career. But people decided; I respect that. Maybe another member of Congress will take up the coins as a cause.

“I think Rep. Castle was beat by too many liberal votes.” ?? What that means?
I think Rep Castle was beaten by the positive votes of mostly conservative Tea Party voters, and perhaps Rush Limbaugh’s last minute appeal. His opponent may well be carrying the coins come November.

I am glad to hear from the Alabama Tea Party! I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1983 (law degree) and it was a great time. Saw but never met Bear Bryant.
I am confident someone will take up the coin cause. The recent new state quarter series will run until 2016 or so. Rep. Castle’s legacy is secure.
