I Owe my Readers An Apology For Election Night

It may sound trite but it is literally true:

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I could not finish the report on the third party candidates.  I would go to the LP website and the Independent Political Report for details.  But I am deeply disappointed that Senator Laura Ebke lost – 57 to 43%.  I think many Republican and Democrat leaning independent voters went to their respective corners and indy candidates suffered.

I am glad Scott Miles was elected – he got over 73,000 votes in his first run for office and won!  Let me tell you – that is impressive.  Believe me the Dem leaders noticed that turnout.  Now he has to turn around and do it again.

So please show me grace and maybe in 2020, we’ll have indy coverage on at least the radio or if not, maybe even TV too!  I think it is needed.

Nothing is more conservative than a republican wanting to get their majority back. And nothing is more liberal than a republican WITH a majority.
