You should see this ad shortly in King William. Is this effective: I heard second-hand that one person refused to run for a KW office because his wife did not want to see her husband’s name on those “damned signs”. Good.
King William County can be the Virginia Carroll County MD. Hat tip to Bob Shannon for the okay to run this ad.

This budget is challenged in many places around the state. We in Spotsylvania will be ramping up our battle by going to the public and informing them as to the the abuse of the taxpayers. All governments funding must be reduced. In Spotsylvania the average income of the private sector is around 31,000 whereas the average pay including benefits for teachers is 70,000. Now the public sector wants the private sector to paymore at the expense of the private sector. Sound fair? All of the upper eschelon especially the county administrator and the school superintendent should have their salaries reduced significantly.

The problem with the public schools are the Bureaucrap Lifers who run them.
Take for example: David Meyers who just left Hanover County Schools for a job in the City of Richmond Schools. This “lifer” goes from one school district to the next school district every few years accomplishing nothing.
Terry Stone was recently run out of King William County as a SUPERVISOR and is back in Hanover County where she started on the School Finance Committee- replacing Myers. Hanover downloads its virus to Richmond City Schools and King William County downloaded its virus ( Terry Stone) to Hanover County Schools and the CHILDREN and the taxpayers are the victims because we all understand Myers and Stone want a blank checkbook for the schools.

We were successful in getting 2 new Supervisors on the 5 seat Board of Supervisors here in KW that are determined to cut spending, including local funding to the county schools with bloated budgets.
Key is finding candidates from our philosophical corner to run next cycle for school board seats here in KW.
The worst thing localities can allow to happen is to have people on the school boards ( elected or appointed ) to run for the Board of Supervisors. They form such close affinities with the schools that they are inclined to give them blank checks.

You can hardly state Terry Stone was run out of King William when the voting margins were so close. That being said, what\’s done is done and now King William is clearly suffering the consequences. We have two supervisors that can\’t decide which side of the battle they are on. One minute they are trying to cut the school budget by $5 million knowingly and the next they agree with our school board to allow for a 5% raise for teachers and ask our school board chair why she hadn\’t asked for more local funding. When you have a room full of dropped jaws that are in awe of the flip and flop of such supervisors we as a county lose all around. Now the people of King William that were lied to by these supervisors are wondering what\’s going on with that huge tax cut they promised. These two supervisors are now learning that finding the money to cut is harder than they originally thought. What is really saddening is that these two take away precious decision making time being corrected and redirected by our 3 sitting and knowledgable supervisors in Districts 1,2 & 3. It\’s come to my attention this a calculated political move on behalf of the Tea Party. When a supervisor continuously forwards emails directly to Bob Shannon you know Bob Shannon might as well be on the BOS. This will never ever happen as we are getting a good look at what is going down now.
