Honestly, the last time I saw such a budget disaster, our last Democratic Governor Tim Kaine was behind it. Governor McDonnell and the Republicans had such a royal mess to clean up that we all knew it would not be easy.
In fact, if you recall, the last budget Tim Kaine tossed out to the General Assembly was so bad, raised so many taxes and still fell short of closing the budget gap that not a single Democrat voted for it!
And it looks like the budget demands from Donald McEachin and the far left Progressives in the Virginia Senate have found Timmy’s old, dusty budget and resurrected it!
Here we are, stuck in the Obama Recession and the Senate Democrats want to party! To the tune of $489.1 million in new expenditures and $128.4 million in new TAXES.
Here comes the Timmy Kaine part -math was apparently not Timmy’s best subject – the budget is $360.7 million in the hole!
We are already paying $40 more per tank of gas since Timmy Kaine’s buddy Barack took over and shut down oil production and convinced the oil producers that he is a weakling by apologizing!
Timmy Kaine and Donald McEachin sure do have a lot in common when it comes to raising taxes and busting budgets!
I think higher taxes is not the solution..I used to work as a freelance journalist but now i started my own business selling export goods. There needs to be a livelihood project that people can do.
