I was excited to listen to this interview with former UN Ambassador John Bolton, perhaps future President John Bolton, and he NAILED it!

1.  He calls for actual CUTS in spending!  He has a useful, although politically dangerous idea about entitlement programs – by block granting Medicaid and Medicare back to the states.  I would use this to show:  Bolton will tell you straight – even if it isn’t politically wise – and after years of Bush and Obama lies (not to mention Congressional lies) a truthteller will be refreshing.

2.  Bolton’s for gay marriage and says something somewhat Sandyesque about it:  Marriage is a religious issue and the churches can define it as they see fit.  He’s not crazy about it but feels a civil union for gays is acceptable.  It appears Bolton also favored gays in the military.

3.  Bolton praised President Calvin Coolidge (one of my favorites – thanks to Ronald Reagan for showing the nation the truth about Coolidge) for cutting the budget and ties the size of government to the amount of personal freedom.

4.  Bolton make have joked about it, but he’s willing to listen to libertarians and go to them.

5.  Bolton exposes the Agenda 21 goal:  Impoverish the Western powers like the USA and Bolton believes in American Exceptionalism!

And remember – Bolton will stand for sovereignty and the Constitution.  He’s the right guy for 2016, Bolton can unite the party and win in November

John R. Bolton is part of the Establishment Elite and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). He has a lot of things to say and his responses seem sound and just what I want to hear, but I have to remind myself that John Bolton is a member of CFR. just as Charles Krauthammer, Columnist, Washington Post is a member of the Bilderberg Group and Council on Foreign Relations. (Look it up)Remember it was a Republican who got us involved in Agenda 21 in the first place and John Bolton was our Ambassador to what….the UN.
I know that their are a lot of people these days who are not religious or don’t believe in God but God his book are our life line, in my opinion. As for Gay marriage,I oppose gay marriage because I believe what the Bible says and our Bible says it is wrong (Leviticus 18:22,Leviticus 20:13,Romans 1:24-27,Genesis 19:1-13,there many examples in the scriptures)and as long as America continues to go against what the Lord says we are DOOMED. If you have not read the Bible, I encourage you to read it. It has a lot of history, rules and helpful ways to live ones life. One would be surprise to learn our how much of our Society is reflected in those pages.
As Americans, we should start looking to individuals who are Biblically principled but in that we need to remember to look at what ones says and how they live their life not what positions they have held in the past, how well they speak or how attractive they appear to be. We have learned to compare what Politicians say, how they vote, at the Local, State and Federal Level, and who donates money to them to help tell us how their principles align with ours. We also need to “really” scrutinize anyone we might consider to be the People’s Representative after all they are a reflection of US. We need to OPEN OUR EYES and face evil head on not be swayed by the smooth talk we hear so often today.

    • Carolyn, I love what you have written here. I’m sorry I couldn’t respond more quickly and hope you get to read my reply.

I ran from Christianity most of my life; a fact I still blame on Christians, but maybe my lack of forgiveness and grudge-holding aren’t without fault.

Today, I believe that Christianity must play the same role it played during the founding of our nation. We need a moral, civil society. Now, I’m sure you and I disagree about what “a moral, civil society” means. I’d ban federally recognized marriage, since I believe marriage is a religious institution and I think federally recognizing marriage opens up the door to gay marriage, marriage between a man and his pig, a woman and her credit card, and Obama to screwing the nation. I support the legalization of prostitution and about every drug you can imagine.

However, I believe that Christianity, that a nation of people who pursue a personal relationship with God is the answer to vice, not federal guns and bureaucrats passing laws. It is that reason that I believe Christianity can once again shape our nation, through our culture.

I believe that Libertarians, like myself, have to become philosophically and morally consistent. We cannot proclaim our love of life and liberty and sanction abortion.

We cannot take a soft stand on the murder of millions of unborn citizens, who have the same rights and dignities as us all (those lucky to have been born).

I know that sanctioning Christianity in public creates a problem for people like myself, who mistrust organized religion. But I support it, so long as the Christian Church has no political or legal authority.

Christianity is about living in the world, about knowing the God that created the world, about turning to Him and to Reality for our morality and ethics, and NOT to an anarchist culture of politically sanctioned moral relativity.
