EXCITING NEWS! ConservativeHome is reporting a new poll conducted by Lord Ashcroft (I hope he’s related to my old hero, former AG John Ashcroft) showing this headline:
Lord Ashcroft: Liberal Democrats 5% Ahead in Eastleigh
But the headline should be:
UKIP SURGES IN EASTLEIGH!
Now, UKIP is in THIRD place, with 21%, NINE points over Labour. And the LibDems are only at 33%. The vote is Thursday. UKIP can actually win this thing. Perhaps people are starting to understand: There is only one liberty, sovereignty anti-EU party in the UK: UKIP.
