The Black Regiment is the name for the clergy (most of whom were in black vestments) who supported the Revolution in 1776. I see that if we can run liberty activists for local office – soil and water commissioner, board of supervisors and school board, they can be like a Black Regiment for our times in VA – a phalanx of elected officials that, like the Black Regiment, can support and offer encouragement to one another.
