12:40 PM Update: Weather Channel making fools of themselves trying to pretend a category 1 storm is still an event worth watching their channel for. The predicted devastation and catastrophic event simply did not materialize. As the lack of impact becomes obvious, they are scrambling to maintain relevance. One even said they wished there was no scale for measuring hurricanes. Sad, really. Still, the storm should be taken seriously and some in Richmond are without power, as the lights continue to blink here.
12:30 PM Video update: Wind picking up a bit. Still not much of a storm.

8:50 AM Update: Lights blinked (twice). Still no wind and not much rain. Virginia Power is just not as reliable as they used to be. With nothing more than a light rain and little breeze, this is not a good sign.
8:30 AM Update: Light to moderate rain, becoming breezy. Still not much in the way of hurricane-like weather.
6:00 AM. Richmond, Va started seeing some light rain and not much wind.
