Mark Warner and Jim Webb – Why Are You Hiding?

Normally, the August recess is the time when our elected officials in D.C. come home for a good, productive chat with the voters. Town Hall meetings, open forums and just plain open dialog.

It seems the two of you are not planning any such meetings where you are going to listen to our input. Could that be because you know we have a lot to say about what you have been doing? Could it be that you already know how we feel on Cap and Tax, Nationalized Health Care and the pork you have been buying with our credit cards?

We have a lot to say, and you need to listen. Should you fail to listen to us and continue your arrogant and ruinous path that is taking our children’s and grandchildren’s future prosperity in exchange for your debt, we will all remember that when you are up for election next time.

This is a process. You don’t know what is best for us and you were not sent to Washington to rule over us. You were sent to Washington to do the bidding of the people that elected you. When you cease to do so, your usefulness to us also ceases.

Not only are Warner and Webb afraid of the truth, they won't listen to us and our opinions. The only way to FORCE them to listen is to work to VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE. I swear…we should launch recall elections for these two. Warner is bad enough. But hell, Webb was a RHINO at one time!!! Neither of them give a flying **** about everyday Virginians. They're just rookie senators hoping they can corral enough power and money to stay in office. LET'S ALL WORK TO VOTE THEIR A#$@* OUT OF OFFICE!!!

Call them (if you can get through). Email them. Snail mail them. FAX them. How about all of the above to tell them how you feel. And while we're at it, let's flood the inbox at "flag@whitehouse.gov" with our opinions about the "health care reform" disinformation all us big bad conservatives are spreading around. Make 'em sorry they ever announced this Gestapo campaign against our 1st amendment rights to free speech and assembly. Astroturf…Harry Reid you don't know grass from plastic!

What cowards to avoid Town Hall meetings…I have repeatedly emailed both and Boucher, too and all I receive back is the standard 'line'. Next week I start calling and am seriously thinking about making a huge poster and protesting in front of their offices (if I do not have to get a "permit").
These guys are so out of touch with those of us who want them to LISTEN/Hear us and NOT RUSH thru this colossal spending disaster. They may well end up being 1 'termers' as I hope O will be.

Can senators be recalled? If so, how do we do it? Petition? Let's get started before these guys take our freedom.

Webb isn't interested in the little people of Virginia. He's off in Burma and his staff said he will probably not have any town hall meetings. After giving the staff members my ideas about why Webb is uninterested and not serving his constituency, I made sure staff was aware that this Junior Senator won't get a second term. Could not get through to the office until this week. Have been sending email complaints about this and tweets re: lack of representation in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Nothing in Webb's official website even so much as mentions the health care/health insurance fiasco. Yet staff is saying that Webb is content with the "single payer option".

    REALLY JIM???
    2012……it's not that far away…..

This lack of responsiveness from both Webb and Warner shows they're already corrupted by DC power. It's just one more reason we need term limits for all of Congress. As a life-long Virginian, I'm so grateful we still have the 1-term governor system and hope it never changes. As we learned in Civics class, the real power in DC lies with the Committee Chairs. By letting Senators and Reps make a career out of what should be "public service", they become more concerned about getting re-elected and bending to ideologies and special interests. Let's hope cooler heads in the Senate prevail with health care reform, or we're all going to be paying for many years to come.

There is no representation in Va I can find except for Forbes. They all seem to fall right in place with the current agenda.. Could find no clear path for recall but marches or signs at their offices sounds like the next path to take. Have had enough of the Democrat agenda and takeover.

Nothing is more conservative than a republican wanting to get their majority back. And nothing is more liberal than a republican WITH a majority.
