Although I am for Scottish independence under certain conditions, I totally oppose foreigners having a say in voting (as opposed to blogging I suppose!) in the independence referendum. Check out this article:

The government proposes to use the Scottish Parliament franchise, which means citizens of EU countries living in Scotland will be allowed to vote.
Allowing citizens of other nations the right to vote in any election is improper.
