More buses from Virginia!
Do you want to go to the March for Marriage next Thursday but don’t want the hassle of NOVA/DC traffic and parking. Last week we told you about a bus leaving from the Valley area. We are now working with Dean Nelson of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, Bishop E.W. Jackson’s organization S.T.A.N.D., and the Coalition of African American Pastors to fill three two additional buses, one leaving from Richmond, one from Portsmouth and one from Newport News (the Portsmouth bus is already full!). There is no charge for these buses, but they are available on a first come basis. Information on reserving a spot is below.
The March for Marriage is being sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage. It will be held on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol this Thursday, June 19.
