MORE EVIDENCE that UKIP is making INROADS with working-class BRITISH VOTERS!

It appears the Farage Labourite is a genuine species of voter.  Try this quote from a political science professor in the Telegraph:

Jane Green, a professor of political science at the University of Manchester and co-director of the British Election Study, said: “The increase in Ukip support that we are seeing at the moment stems from many causes – the collapse of the working class labour vote, which is being picked up by Ukip, and the fact these major parties are seen as having policies that are quite similar to each other.”

This is echoed by my UK source Clarence, who is a member of UKIP, who tells me that nearly a quarter of UKIP’s new members are disillusioned Labourites.  There’s more:

My historical political background was for many years as a Labour voter. Growing up in my teenage years throughout the 80s in a working class home [in the UK]. A time when the UK was suffering through a major recession. I just went along with the flock and voted for Labour because I was always told they represented the working man. I have always voted in all elections, but have NEVER been a member of a political party or done any voluntary work.  Until I joined UKIP over 1 year ago.

But, as many within the UK, I have become frustrated, disillusioned with the political class. The Westminster Bubble we call it. No body knows truly how or when it happened…….whether a large percentage of the population suddenly changed their ideologies…….but for some reason……the Parties just stopped working for us. Stopped representing things we wanted. All of the parties are more Champagne Socialists and Metro London Elites. Its a culmination of issues over the past ten years.

Blair’s and Bushes’ illegal war in Iraq was very highly opposed.  The Labour Parties two climb downs on electoral promises in giving the public a referendum on EU membership is another. And now during this Parliament, the conservatives have done the same.

The huge exposure of the MPs expensive scandal. The list goes on. It has all done nothing but breed distrust, loathing and anger at our politicians. There is a massive feeling of enough is enough.

Another major feeling of apprehension is towards this globalisation. This new world order. This one Government ideology.  We see it happening more everyday over here and with each day, the government encroaches more into out lives and removes more of our liberties and democracies.  A lot of people in the UK believe that this globalisation is political bluff for doing the things above mentioned whilst pretending that its all about business and making us all more competitive.

In the UK, we have watched European Politicians talk of this Global family, have watched ex president Clinton talk of independent sovereign nations being isolationists and inferior if we don’t wish to be included in this global family.  But can you really see the likes of Russia, China, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Indonesia all wanting to join this Global one Government New world Order? I don’t.  Global trade will always be here, but will become easier as it gets easier to communicate. We don’t need to loose our freedoms to be globally inclusive. To us in the UK, The whole Globalisation course is nothing more then Big business sitting in office with Politicians to impose unwanted, undemocratic and unaccountable governments upon  the citizens. In the UK, we have woken up to this massively.

If this kind of alienation is prevalent throughout the UK, we should be thankful there is a UKIP or some genuinely racist party like the BNP might have gotten this vote.
