More Lies From Democrat Creigh Deeds About Education

Bob McDonnell announces almost half a billion dollars more for Schools:

ALEXANDRIA – Bob McDonnell, Republican gubernatorial candidate and former Attorney General of Virginia, and Bill Bolling, Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, announced today a bold education proposal that will dramatically increase money for Virginia’s teachers and students by $480 million a year, without a tax increase. The two announced their “Education Funding: In the Classroom, Where it Counts” plan at an early afternoon news conference at T.C Williams High School in Alexandria.

And Creigh Deeds sends out an email full of lies:

Governor Kaine’s announcement of another painful round of budget cuts today highlights a crucial difference between me and my opponent: Governor Kaine found a way to protect K-12 education, and I will protect education in my budgets. Bob McDonnell, on the other hand, has pledged to take $5.4 billion from our schools to pay for roads.

The real story here is Tim Kaine’s fiscal irresponsibility has lead to huge and painful cuts, and Deeds tries to blame McDonnell?

This is not leadership.

But I agree with the article. The real story here is Tim Kaine’s is seriously irresponsible with funding. From year to year with these practices there is no chance of qualifying for same level funding.Deeds tries to blame McDonnell but I feel they are all at fault.
