President Obama’s approval has hit a new rock bottom low in the latest Rasmussen Poll. Rasmussen has a statistic they call Approval Index, which is the difference between those that strongly approve and strongly disapprove. That number for today is -18 only a point up from yesterday’s record low of -19.
And as to simple approve or disapprove, we have a new record low today as well. Only 44% approve of Obama’s performance while 55% disapprove, a difference of -11%.
On Inauguration Day last January, 65% approved of Obama and his performance while only 30% disapproved. This was a +35% difference.
Obama’s spread has dropped from +35% to -11% in less than a year, a 46% spread.
Seems that overreaching, bankrupting the country and failing to end the recession and create jobs is taking a toll on Obama.
