In a stunning admission, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admitted today that she does not have the votes to ram Health Care Reform through the house. The fallout from the Scott Brown election in Massachusetts continues to mount.
The people now, with a one vote shift in the Senate, have more of a say in what goes on in Washington. Super majorities lead to super arrogance of the ruling party. And arrogance is something politicians are predisposed to have anyway.
Perhaps now they will scrap the bill fraught with bribery and special interest money and really reform Health Care – not just insurance.
