I am so VERY disappointed with my representative, Mr. Eric Cantor. Last week on my way home from work, I came upon one of Cantor’s town hall meetings at the Marriott Hotel in Innsbrook, which is just a few hundred yards from Cantor’s Innsbrook office, so I stopped to check it out.
The huge meeting room was completely full with several hundred constituents and he never showed up during the entire two hours I was there. Word has it that he had been off meeting the likes of the ACLU and Obama’s Organizing for VA to discuss amnesty.
Since then, he has gone on record that he will support Obama’s Military action in Syria even though we all know it will likely lead to more war and more debt for the U.S. He’s willing to continue to ignore the cold hard fact that America is BROKE. How soon they forget the devastating $17 Trillion debt that they (federal government) has run up.
Nevertheless, Cantor continues to march forward toward another VERY costly war and probably the most hypocritical of all is the fact that he is reluctant to de-fund Obama’s and the democrat’s disastrous (Un)affordable HealthCare Act even though, Cantor himself, has continuously gone on record about its disastrous consequences and the need to: “stop it by any measure necessary; Repeal, De-fund, and/or Delay” etc.
Sadly, all of this is being done while ignoring and turning his back on his constituents. Might I suggest that if he continues to march ahead with escalating the war in Syria, that he and all of the other reps that vote for it, put on their own marching boots and exempt our fine young military men and women from this conflict, kind of like the way Obama exempted thousands of his favorite handpicked businesses, unions, and lobbyist from ObamaCare.
