I tend to be a kinda curious person and I got to wondering about how Hanover government employees income compares to Hanover’s residents working as private sector employees and here’s what I found.
In 2012, median income for Hanover residents working in the private sector was about $34,000/year. Interestingly enough, I discovered that over 3000 Hanover government employees earn more than that $34,000/year and approximately 83 of those government employees earn over $99,000/year in income.
So there you have it, for what it’s worth in YOUR taxpayer dollars.

Public sector employees are not under paid. At least not in Hanover County. We need more like Mr. Wright to point this out.
Upper level employees in Hanover County are overpaid.
