Republican Victory in November Leads to Lower Unemployment – Now at 9%

With the uncertainty at every turn caused by the confused Obama Administration’s policies and attitude towards businesses evaporated by the Republican gains in November, employment numbers showed a sharp improvement in numbers released today.

The Democrats, led by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi failed to act on the expiration of the “Bush” tax cuts until the reality of the last election set in and forced their hand. These Progressives were completely content to allow the taxes to increase in a time of economic turmoil. The Republican takeover of the House and increased numbers in the Senate left no doubt that there would be a continuation of the cuts by the next Congress if they failed to act during the lame duck session.

And the Republican push for certainty for businesses with the tax rates had a major effect, judging by today’s numbers.

Businesses are starting to feel that the grownups are back in charge.

Of course, the fact that the Obama Administration has taken over one million unemployed persons out of the statistics because they have given up on finding work has made the jobless rate a politicized and meaningless number. And given the fact that we had a major drop in the unemployment rate and the fewest jobs created in 4 months (just 36,000) – it is clear to see that the Obama Administration is manipulating the statistics, hoping to make the people believe their out of control spending and massive government growth has been effective.

So, as long as the Administration is bending the truth on a dismal jobs picture, it is only fair that the Republican gains be given the credit.

Oh, and Republicans probably saved a million or so jobs, too.
