– Voters face a choice between Obama and a government-centered society, or Romney and an opportunity society –
|
RPV Chairman Pat Mullins issued the following statement:
“President Obama says ‘I actually believe in redistribution,’ but Virginians have and always will believe in American free enterprise and the value of hard work. The president’s comments have crystallized the choice we face in this election. It’s between President Obama’s vision of a government-centered society, and Mitt Romney’s belief in an opportunity society.
We don’t need a president who wants to make us dependent on government by redistributing wealth. We need a president who will help Americans thrive by creating jobs.
Under President Obama, the government has grown too large and borrowed too much. Far too many of our fellow Americans are struggling for work. Mitt Romney is the only candidate with the plan, vision, and philosophy to solve our problems and lead us toward prosperity. Barack Obama will simply allow our country to sink further into dependency. Virginians demand and deserve better than that.”
