Scott Brown Defeats Obama 49% to 36% Among Independents in Zogby Poll

My, my, my.

How the mighty have fallen.

And it is a dead heat among all voters.

A stunning new poll conducted by Newsmax/Zogby reveals that Massachusett’s new Republican Senator-elect Scott Brown could defeat President Barack Obama in a presidential election.

The Newsmax/Zogby poll released Tuesday found that the pair would be statistically deadlocked if the presidential election was held today.

The poll indicates surprisingly weak support for the president among independent voters, who favor the tyro Brown by 48.6 percent to 36 percent in a hypothetical matchup against Obama.

Re: stunning new poll: strange thing, this guy Brown is just another lawyer with a truck, trying to be cute and offer his daughters, etc., etc., And, he does look good in the playgirl book (oh to be young again). All you are sprouting is just more BS from the right wingers platform (party of "NO"). Funny thing I haven't been "polled" by anyone or anybody in the past year – except the GOP. BTW MSNBC did carry Brown's acceptance speech. Heard it myself! You really need to stay away from the cool-ade yourself, your mind is completely blocked from reality and what is happening in this country. Listen to a couple of old Joe South songs, e.g., Games people play, and Walk a mile in my shoes.

Sorry, Beth. You are wrong. Foxnews was the only cable news station to show both speeches (Martha and Scott) in their entirety. Google it or look here: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer/2010/01/2

CNN only ran 26% of Brown's speech, while MSNBC aired 37%

I personally watched MSNBC's hat squad leader Olbermann make fun of Brown during the speech. The volume was turned off on the speech and it was carried in a box. Part of it. Olbermann made comments like "Is Brown the new designated fillibusterer?" and "Does Brown know they don't actually talk for hours in a filibuster anymore?"

If you heard his entire speech, you really need to cut that Obama Kool-Aid with some Tonic or water.

I submit that you only heard the MSNBC response after the video was over. What did Scott say about Teddy Kennedy? I imagine you will need to look that up as well.

Remember the beach picture of Obama? He shows as much skin as Brown did. Although a flabby Obama is not something most women had the same sexual reaction to as you did to Brown.

People like you are so full of hate, I really feel sorry for you. You intentionally allow yourself to be blinded and not hear all sides of a story. Just what the state run media wants you to hear.

Lies come so easy to you. The entire speech was NOT carried on either MSNBC or CNN, yet you claim you saw it.

Typical liberal. But the people are on to you. That is why Scott Brown won.

Nothing is more conservative than a republican wanting to get their majority back. And nothing is more liberal than a republican WITH a majority.
