PRESS RELEASE: Senator Rand Paul Endorses Ken Cuccinelli for Governor
FAIRFAX – This evening, during his speech at the Liberty Political Action Conference 2012, Senator Rand Paul announced his support for Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s campaign for Governor of Virginia in 2013. Senator Paul had this to say about Attorney General Cuccinelli:
“I am proud today to announce my endorsement of Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli for Governor of Virginia. Ken has been a key leader nationally in the fight against unconstitutional overreaches of the federal government. He has been a true and consistent champion of liberty and as Governor will work to preserve and protect the principles our nation was founded on.

He was the first Attorney General in the nation to file a lawsuit against ObamaCare, he has fought against illegal and unconstitutional actions taken by the EPA and has changed the paradigm of how Attorneys General fight to defend the Constitution nationwide.
