I am amazed at the depths the Obama reelection campaign will go to win this year.
Here‘s their ad – running in VA, too – calling Mitt Romney the “Outsourcer-in-Chief” for Bain Capital’s alleged sending jobs overseas.
But what about the sovereignty-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership? Here’s my comment on it last week! (and here’s the other one!) The TPP will allow corporations to send jobs overseas! Don’t take my word for it – take the word of liberal Public Citizen:
- Extend the incentives for U.S. firms to offshore investment and jobs to lower-wage countries;
Public Citizen also claims that this TPP will allow foreign corporations to flout US law and appeal to foreign tribunals that can fine and punish the United States. NEVER! Look, if we wanted that sort of thing, we’d simply need only join the European Union! It’s easier!
But the President is shameless and hypocritical if complaining that Mitt Romney sent jobs abroad when both GOP and Democrat Chief Executives have sent millions of jobs overseas through “trade deals” such as NAFTA and the WTO. I wish there was a realistic chance of a third party victory but not so. Until then, all of us who want to try to preserve American sovereignty must act: Tell President Obama to stop running these ads. Here’s the White House switchboard number: 202-456-1111.
