TENNESSEE HOUSE votes for the ANTI-AGENDA 21 RESOLUTION! ON to the TENNESSEE SENATE!

In a GREAT VICTORY for liberty and sovereignty, the Tennessee House of Representatives PASSED (72-23) Rep. Kevin Brooks’ Resolution condemning Agenda 21 and criticizing ICLEI by name.  Here is the resolution and below are some highlights:

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control that was initiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992; and
WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) through local “sustainable development” policies such as Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, and other “Green” or “Alternative” projects; and…

***

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE CONCURRING, that the General Assembly recognizes the destructive and insidious nature of United Nations Agenda 21 and hereby exposes to the public and public policymakers the dangerous intent of the plan.

***

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the federal government and state and local governments across the country be well informed of the underlying harmful implications of implementation of United Nations Agenda 21 destructive strategies for “sustainable development,” and we hereby endorse rejection of its radical policies and rejection of any grant monies attached to it.

Now it goes to the state senate!  In the Senate, there is still alive a bill to ban ICLEI (SB 3407) introduced by Senator Mae Beavers.  My TN readers, contact your state senator and ask them politely and respectfully to vote for both bills.  Here is the Senate website.

Why is a non-binding resolution important?  This resolution, if passed by the legislature, gives activists official ammunition in localities considering ICLEI or Agenda 21 related issues, and it encourages those TN communities STILL in ICLEI to GET OUT or face the possibility of further action next year by the General Assembly.

Here are the TN cities still in ICLEI:

Tennessee

Thanks for the quickly diminishing list of ICLEI USA members to the ICLEI USA website!  (BTW, Nashville is not on the ICLEI website!  They have indeed GOT OUT!)

Let’s show a little love to these visionary legislators who brought this matter to the TGA!

Senator Mae Beavers – introduced the anti-ICLEI bill in the state senate

Representative Kevin Brooks – introduced the Agenda 21 resolution that passed the House today

Representative Rick Womick – introduced the anti-ICLEI in the house

I always loved Tennessee and wouldn't expect anything different from the land of David Crockett. I live in Arkansas and we have been overwhelmed with all types of grants, especially in the major cities. The Little Rock Housing Authority is out of control, now taking out private loans using section 8 housing as collaterol, competing with the private sector. They are now expanding into elderly home health facilities. They primarily use illegals for labor and much of their recent funds were from the stimulus.

People dont realize how these grants are shaping the communities we live in. Grants from the Dept. of Education for things like "Promise Neighborhoods." Grants from Defense and justice to militarize our local police. Grants from the Dept of Hud for section 8 housing which devalues private property and in some cases seizes it and many other grants from HUd, the Interior, etc. The biggest problem as these grants are awarded at the local level and bypass our elected officials and the federal, state and sometimes even local levels, when awarded to nonprofit organizations. Keep the fight against the UN and all their efforts to control our country. Thanks again, Tennessee!!!!!

  3. Thanks for your comments, Mcvyer! Come back again!
