Tom Shields Behind In Sign War

ShieldsAcorn
Driving around the 73rd District yesterday, I couldn’t help but notice the Delegate O’Bannon signs were everywhere. They outnumbered even the Bob McDonnell signs, but not by much.

In an unscientific canvasing, I counted the O’Bannon and Shields signs. What I found surprised me. O’Bannon won hands down, but second place was taken by the Long and Foster signs.

And there are not that many houses for sale in the 73rd.

I suppose the Acorn support and the revelation that Shields’ support for all things sexual extends beyond Gay and Lesbians just might have people moving as far away from Shields as possible. While Shields supports helping ensure your neighbors are all soon Mr. and Mr. Jones, his affinity for abnormal sexuality also extends to Bisexuals and Transgendered people. So you may be looking at Mr. and Mrs. all in one person. Or Mr. and Mrs. and Mr. Jones.

Funny how Shields always mumbles LGBT when he talks about Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered groups. One of the ladies at St. Mary’s church asked him what he mumbled at last night’s debate. When one of the audience members said “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered” and audible gasp filled the room. I mean, gay and lesbian is still not quite mainstream in Virginia, but far more tame than the latter half of the LGBT group.

People were truly shocked.

I will have to make a note to ask Shields at the next debate if his support extends to The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), the group that:

advocates the liberalization of laws against sexual relations between adult and minor males – resolving to “end the oppression of men and boys who have freely chosen mutually consenting relationships”.

Should they be protected against discrimination as well? Sounds like the same sort of thing Shields supports now.

Shields still has not answered the Acorn child prostitution questions, either. But we may have our answer now.

Tom- you should know that signs have more to do with fundraising dollars. Afterall you have to pay for them first don't you?Given even in September there were limited Shields signs for the taking and O'Bannon has out raised Shields to the tune of almost 4 to 1 it really is no surprise regarding the signs and its more about money than support. BTW I can recall a margin of Mccain to Obama signs that was no different and than on election day in the district precincts low and behold how well Obama ended up doing in the end…..and with limited signage in Henrico. If memory serves, Obama and Kaine both won Henrico. Lots of split ticket voters there Tom.

It is not a matter of money. Shields has the Democratic Party, which owns him, sending numerous mailers, as Delegate O'Bannon pointed out at St. Mary's. Shields looked embarrassed. Money is not the problem. Buying signs is not a problem, either. Shields' problem is there are no supporters that want his signs on their property. That is why he has so many illegally placed signs on public property, without permission. It also is against the law.

See, Shield's problems are, he refuses to answer many questions because he is trying to hide his radicalism. And people now know he is a radical, left wing partisan.

He even refuses to repudiate Acorn and their willingness to support child prostitution.

In addition, his support of deviant sexual behavior such as bisexual marriage ( 3 or more in a marriage) and Drag Queens is very offensive to most voters. His hidden sexual deviation and anti-Christian bias has been exposed. And will continue to be exposed.

First he was an "academic" and now he is a "radical". Jesus you paint with broad strokes. But why should we be surprised. For the record Shields is heavily involved in his church, but rhen given the fact bigots like you probably have as much against Catholics and Episcopalians as you do gays, lesbians, liberals, blacks, hispanics, Richmond southsiders, community activists, oh and of course those pesky little Mormons right who have multiple wives. Gee that covers alot of areas Tom.
And for the record if Shields signs were so abundently placed in "illegally" I am sure there would be a case made through the BOE. And another thing, where all all the signs for O'bannon behind Stony Point, down near Trinity Epsiopal School, and along Cherokee Road to Riverside Drive. I counted a mere two on Sunday. Guess you betting those folks who live in that part of the district will not be going to the polls next month right? In terms of signs, you might want to just wait for the blitz coming or did you not get the memo Tom?
