VTPPF Gives Tim Kaine Early Christmas Gift

Do you hear what I hear?… it’s Democrat Senate Candidate Tim Kaine and his campaign staff laughing all the way to elections day.

Today, Mark Lloyd, Chairman of the Virginia Tea Party Patriot Federation issue this press release,  specifically to call out George Allen because he dare to have people in the tea party people who support him.   In the very first paragraph, Lloyd makes this statement:

The VTPP seeks to challenge George Allen’s assertion that he is a “tea party” conservative, by focusing on the former Senator’s failure to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2005, three years before the 2008 financial crisis.

The rest of the press release makes general accusation about Frm. Senator Allen’s record with no back up detail or supporting links.   If it did not have the VTPPF label on the release I would have thought that Tim Kaine’s campaign put out the press release.  Tim Kaine makes general accusations and clever sound bite statistic, if fact, this would be the second since last Thursday’s debate that Tim Kaine and the VTPPF seem to be in lock step.  See this post.

My question to Mr. Lloyd,

Do you think that Tim Kaine is going to help repeal Obamacare? Did you take Tim Kaine seriously when he said he wanted to court the tea party vote?   You must’ve, it’s the only explanation I can fathom.

Mr. Lloyd failed to infom you that there were 1 sponsor and 3 co-sponsors to SB190. They were Chuck Hagle [R-NE], Elizabeth Dole [R-NC], John McCain [R-AZ], John Sununu [R-NH] neither of these Senators are exactly stalwarts of conservatism. Mr. Lloyd also failed to tell you that George Allen was not on the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee of the 109th Congress. As a result Mr. Allen did not have the ability to vote on this bill while it was in committee thus he did not have the ability to affect the SB190′s outcome. I also would assume that a Conservative may find some things in SB190 that they may have trouble supporting. That may be why there were no Consevative Repulicans on that committee co-sponsoring SB190. Mr. Lloyd also failed to provide a link to SB190 so you can decide for yourself. Here is the bill for you to read http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c109:S.190: Have fun reading it.

I am guessing the reason my post has not been approved is because Mr. Lloyd does not want the truth to be told and make him look foolish.

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce and brave man, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
