The Democrats would have you believe Martha Coakley was a weak candidate. Or that she didn’t work very hard. But is it true?
If you consider that Teddy Kennedy, the previous occupant of the People’s seat won reelection time after time despite the fact that he was a drunken womanizer elitist who ran his car off a bridge and abandoned a dying or dead campaign worker to save his own skin and career, and failed to alert anyone until the next day, Coakley was a far stronger candidate.
So, the answer is, the loss was not the candidate’s fault.
Who will the Democrats blame next, George W. Bush?
