WHAT we all SHOULD DO: GET INVOLVED LOCALLY!

This article on the Daily Paul was and is well done.  Well written exhortation to get involved in local government and politics.  Here are a few highlights from the article of a liberty activist named Travis Couture (slightly edited):

Please, get involved in your party, unless it is that unbearable, run for office locally, learn the system, support your local liberty guys. we can definitely make a difference here.

As for me I will be running for State Senate in 2014. I have a good chance this time and I have more support and backing than I thought was possible. In a legislative race here you have to raise around $100,000 just to keep up with the teachers union and “green” special interests. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we had a money bomb for local and state candidates? With the liberty movements fundraising prowess we could be a force to be reckoned with. Just a little food for thought.

I agree!  I am not endorsing Couture for office because I have not researched him enough.  But it is important to get involved.  Find the local GOP, or another party, or even your local tea party or similar group.  Make sure they have not been taken over by racists or weirdos etc.  I can assure you the Mechanicsville Tea Party is solid and is worthy of your support.  We need more people to get involved; especially teenagers, young adults and college students.  Consider running for office or helping others out run for office.  The time is now.
